Veteran tech company Apple is going to add its popular iPhone model to the vintage list soon. According to MacRumors, Apple will add the iPhone 6 Plus to its vintage list starting in 2022. This means that the company will permanently close its sales and production cycle in all markets. However, to ensure that existing iPhone 6 Plus users do not face any problems, the authorized Apple Service Center will offer a seven-year product repair with all its parts.

Apple launched in 2014
Apple first launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September 2014. Devices with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays started the trend of larger displays in Apple iPhones. It was also the first device to support Apple Pay, A8 chip and advanced camera.

The iPhone 6 Plus was discontinued in 2016
Apple discontinued the iPhone 6 Plus smartphone in 2016, but the iPhone 6 remained available until the end of 2018. The iPhone 6 is yet to be announced as a vintage product. Apple has already discontinued software support for both variants.
