Digital Desk, Delhi The first cutoff for postgraduate courses of Delhi University has been released. Under the new education policy, students are being offered world class and international courses. Students from all over the country have registered for the 75 PG program at Delhi University. Delhi University has started admission for only 39 out of 75 different postgraduate courses. Merit list has been issued for them. Various colleges of Delhi University will accept admissions on the basis of this merit list till November 22. Students will have until November 23 to pay the admission fee. Fees have to be paid online through the portal.

DU will also promote research work and for this science students will be given various options through NEP. According to the university, an average of 9 students have applied for each seat in Delhi University’s PG course this year. Delhi University has about 20,000 seats in various postgraduate programs, but about 1.80 lakh students have applied for these courses. At the same time, about 28,827 registrations were made for MPhil and PhD. Entrance examinations for registered students were held on 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 September and 1 October.

The second merit list for PG admission will be released by Delhi University on November 26. The admission process will start from November 27 to November 30, depending on the second merit list. After this, the third merit list for PG admission will be released on December 3. It is to be noted that while admission for PG courses is starting in Delhi University, the application process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University has come to an end. Preparations are being made to start a new batch for the first year of the undergraduate course i.e. 2021-2022 semester. According to Delhi University Registrar Vikas Gupta, students applying for admission in UG courses can submit their fees till November 19.

The first year online classes will start from November 22 after the admission process of the new batch is completed in Delhi University. According to the calendar released by Delhi University, the first examination of these students will be held in the year 2022. The exams will be held from March 21 to April 4.
