Huawei will soon launch a new foldable smartphone. The company has begun teasing the launch of the Huawei P50 Pocket, the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone. First it will be launched in China. The Huawei foldable smartphone will challenge the long running Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Moto Razr 2021. The device will launch on December 23. Currently, the company has not provided any information about availability outside of China.
The company has started teasing the main features and design details of the device. The latest teaser has been released by the popular magazine Harper’s Bazaar, which reveals the device’s rear panel design. The Huawei P50 Pocket smartphone will launch in China on December 23. Prior to the launch, the company has confirmed the clamshell design of the device. Latest Harper’s Bazaar Magazine has shared pictures of the golden color variant. This shows that the cover of the phone has a textured design. The back panel also has two large rings. One of these rings has a triple camera setup. The company has not yet released details of the camera sensor.
The second is for circular cutout displays. There is currently no information about the display size of the cover screen. The rear camera can be used to take selfies or check notifications, battery percentage, incoming call details, etc.
The front of the device is not visible in the photo, which is a foldable screen. We can expect the phone to have a 6.5-6.7-inch foldable screen similar to the Z Flip 3.
