New Delhi. Non-veg eating on trains will soon be banned. This rule will apply to all trains across the country that go to religious places. Indian Railways has started its process. This rule will not be applied simultaneously and will be applied one by one to all the trains going to the place of worship. These trains will be given the certificate of Satvik Train Satvik Train. For this, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has tied up with Satvik Council of India. The council will certify these trains, then the trains will be satvik.

Many passengers traveling in trains do not eat the food served on the train because they do not know that the food is completely vegetarian and healthy. That is how much hygiene is taken while making food, veg and non-veg are cooked separately, what is the process from making food to serving. Indian Railways is going to launch a new initiative to solve this kind of problem of passengers. The IRCTC has teamed up with the Satvik Council of India to ensure that the food is completely vegetarian and that all hygiene standards are observed in the process of making it.

These trains will be sattvic

According to the Railway Ministry, preparations are being made to make all trains going to religious places satvik. Because most of the people on the trains going to the place of worship are devotees who go for darshan with full faith and devotion. In the meanwhile, if the person sitting around the passengers eats non-veg, the person going for darshan may get upset.

For example, whether it is Vande Bharat Jati Vande Bharat or the Ramayana special train that visits the respective places of Lord Rama, most of the passengers will be those who prefer to eat whole satvik food. That is why it is being launched with Vande Bharat Express. Apart from this, preparations are being made to make the Ramayana Special Train, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Ayodhya, Puri, Tirupati and other religious places of the country satvik.

This will be the process

Abhishek Biswas, founder of the Satvik Council of India, says a lot of procedures have to be done before issuing a Satvik certificate. In which cooking method, kitchen, serving and serving utensils, method of keeping will be decided, certificate will be given only after going through all the process. He said that besides making trains satvik, there are also plans to make base kitchen, lounge and food stall satvik.
