New Delhi. Indian Railways has given gifts to people traveling in Ramayana Yatra special train. These passengers will be taken to another place of worship. They will not have to pay extra for this. This space was not included in the previously determined route. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Railway Board on Wednesday.
The Ramayana Yatra special train has been launched from Delhi on November 7 by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. The train will visit places connected with the life of Lord Rama across the country for 17 days. The Ramayana Yatra special train will return to Delhi on November 23.
A new place of worship was added to the pilgrimage
One more religious place in the south has been added to the pilgrimage. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Railway Board on Wednesday. According to IRCTC officials, Bhadrachalam in Telangana has been included in the yatra. Located in Khammam district, this temple is associated with the life of Lord Rama. The temples of Sita Ramchandra and Anjani Swami are located on the banks of Godavari river. People going on Ramayana Yatra will be shown these two temples.
This religious place is included on the 16th day of the pilgrimage. The train will reach Khammam in the afternoon on November 22, returning from Rameshwaram to Delhi. After visiting both the temples, the train will leave for Delhi at night and reach Delhi the next day.
