Smartphone companies are experimenting with cameras and displays. Motorola is going to do such a unique experiment. Motorola will soon launch a phone with an in-display selfie camera, a reliable industry source said.
The digital chat station has acknowledged that Motorola is more than willing to launch a flagship-level offer with high-end chipsets this time around. Moto S30 with Snapdragon 888+ and Moto X30 with Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 chipset (Edge 30 Ultra Global) will launch in December. The two can now be paired with an under-display selfie camera via another third model.
Recently, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo’s phone division in China, hinted through a post on Weibo that Motorola will officially announce the next generation of Snapdragon 8th Gen 1 flagship at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit. This could be the first phone to support the chip, as the Xiaomi 12 is expected to be released by the end of December.
May launch in the first quarter of 2022
As far as the under-display selfie camera phone is concerned, there is no indication that it will be released on the same day as the Moto S30 and Moto X30, which means that it may also launch in the first quarter of 2022. Other than that, ‘Nothing really was known about the Mysterious phone at the moment. But now that it is open, more leaks and rumors may surface in the coming days. Currently, many phones with under-screen front cameras are not in the market. Xiaomi and ZTE are two big companies and if Motorola manages them well, the technology will give the company a lot of edge.
