OnePlus has given a big tweak to its users. In fact, OnePlus has decided to cancel its latest update based on Android 12. The whole affair is connected to the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. In fact, the company is suspending the OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro until it fixes the bug encountered by OnePlus users.

An update was released for these two phones
The Chinese tech giant has apparently released a statement regarding the suspension of the rollout of the update based on Android 12. Some users complained that not all the features mentioned in the update were found, while others said they noticed that many features were removed. The OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro was rolled out to users via an over-the-air (OTA) update earlier this week.

The company will release the update again soon
According to an Android Police report, OnePlus mentions that it is blocking the rollout of the OxygenOS12 update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. In a statement to the release, OnePlus said, “We are aware of issues with the OxygenOS 12 update and our software team is working to fix it. We will suspend this software update and start a new revision as soon as possible.” “The release states that OnePlus may soon re-release the update after fixing all the bugs reported by users.

OnePlus is the third company to release an Android 12 based update
An update for the two OnePlus flagship phones launched this year was rolled out to users earlier this week. The Chinese tech giant’s update makes it the third manufacturer after Google and Samsung to roll out the Android 12-based update. The OnePlus update brought some changes to the interface, including system-level improvements and features. Users receiving the update have received features such as app hibernation, microphone and camera indicators, as well as new “predictable” location permissions.

Users were struggling with these issues
Earlier this week, reports surfaced online suggesting that the new OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro is a bug-puzzle. Disappointed users noticed that the update was extremely buggy, did not deliver the promised features and even removed some features. Early adopters of the Android 12-based update reported that they can’t customize icons, status bars, battery icons, or turn off Google feeds.
