The Ministry of Defense has issued a notification inviting applications for recruitment of various posts in Group C (Sarakari Bharti). According to the notification, the Ministry of Defense has started the recruitment process for the posts of Stenographer Grade II, Lower Division Clerk, Messenger and Safaiwala.

According to the notification, the Ministry of Defense is inviting applications for one post of Lower Division Clerk, one post of Stenographer Grade II, one post of Sweeper and three posts of Messenger.


Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer Grade II should have a standard 12 pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Candidates applying for the position of Messenger or Sweeper should have a standard 10 pass or equivalent from a recognized board.

How much will the salary be?

It may be mentioned here that the candidates selected for the post of stenographer are paid Rs. 25,500 to Rs. Up to 81,100 will be paid. So the candidates selected for the post of Lower Division Clerk will be paid Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 will be paid. While the candidates selected for the post of messenger and cleaner will be given Rs. 18,000 to Rs. The salary will be between Rs 56,900.

Importantly, the Ministry of Defense issued the recruitment notification on October 30. The deadline to apply for these positions is November 20th. All the candidates selected for these posts will be given postings in Kolkata.

Applicants who are willing to apply for various positions should submit their applications along with valid documents to the Ministry of Defense, Headquarters 111 Sub Area, Bangalore Military Station, West Bengal; Station Headquarters – Hasimara or Station Headquarters – Gangtok.
